CONDITION Details:
The JACKET:
The LP jacket is in Very Good condition.
This jacket, although UK made, in the early 1950's they used lighter than normal paper stock. As such, the jacket is of a bendable, flimsy paper stock which, in many cases disintegrated over time. Even though this jacket is of that variety, it is still in very nice shape given it's age. It does feature the flipped over, "clam shell" seams at the top and bottom and is covered in shiny "clarifoil", both front and back.
Although the jacket is almost completely intact, it does have a small seam split at the bottom seam, it does have some wear at the corners and the front seam where the LP slides in - a small tear and a bit or corner missing primarily - see the pictures with this listing for more detail.
The jacket has NO drill holes or saw marks of any kind.
There is NO hand writing on the front or the back of the jacket (see picture for more details).
The jacket has clean, sharp colors - see pictures for more detail.

The LP (vinyl) itself:
The LP is in Near Mint minus condition!
Gorgeous vinyl with virtually NO marks on the vinyl. Given the age of this LP, it is in remarkable condition. The LP retains most of the original gloss and sheen. It may not be a perfect copy, but this is as good as it gets for this type of vintage record! There may be just a light mark or two, but nothing serious. Consider that we are talking about a 1951 vintage UK Columbia LP - the vinyl mixture used in the UK at this time is still pretty fantastic! One listen and you will understand why.
The record has been obviously well taken care of. This LP may have a light mark or two (spider marks) which are caused by sliding the LP in and out of the inner sleeve and are usually not audible on most audio systems - as for any record, we recommend a thorough cleaning before playing!
It has NO serious spindle marks.
This is an exceptional copy of a super rare item.

Please understand that this is a vintage LP record - as such, one cannot expect the vinyl to sound like a brand new, audiophile pressing! Some noise is inevitable - for best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

A Short Note About LP GRADING -
Mint {M} = Only used for sealed items.
Near Mint {NM} = Virtually flawless in every way.
Near Mint Minus {NM-} = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
Excellent {EXC} = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
Very Good Plus {VG+} = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

Don't let this rarity slip by!!!
